About Chris
Highly creative, innovative, and client-driven, Chris Powell is a leading residential and commercial real estate photographer and videographer who knows how to orchestrate compelling scenes that leave lasting impressions. As a professional creator who has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, LA Times, Fortune Magazine, and local Seattle and Bellevue magazines, Chris has already demonstrated himself as an expert in his fields and is excited to continue his work to raise the bar within the real estate industry.
Born and raised in the northwest near Puget Sound, Chris has always loved the outdoors, and his passion for photography ignited when he was just ten years old. He began his journey with his parents’ old point and shoot camera, taking pictures of birds in the backyard. It wasn’t until late high school that he discovered this was what he wanted to pursue as a career. Shortly after, Chris attended Seattle Central College on Capitol Hill and earned a degree in Commercial Photography. Since then, he has been a full-time freelance photographer and has worked with international hotels and resorts, nonprofits in various countries, companies such as REI Co-op and Amazon, and of course, Realtors. For many years his work has hung in galleries and been displayed in public spaces throughout the region.
Chris leverages his artistic eye, extreme attention to detail, and diverse technical skills to guide Realtors in achieving successful outcomes. He has worked with hundreds of local agents, won national awards, and advanced his knowledge to deliver unmatched photographic services and solidify clients’ confidence that their visual goals are in capable hands.
Chris loves establishing long-term connections with those he works with. When he is not behind the camera or computer, you can find him enjoying nature - camping, exploring national parks, admiring wildlife, or landing an occasional halibut. He can also be caught baking a sourdough boule or playing his guitar or harmonica around a campfire.
